Paid Parental Leave

Paid Parental Leave provides financial stability during a critical life transition by offering new parents the opportunity to continue to receive their regular salary while they take time off to care for their newborn or newly adopted child without the pressure of immediate work obligations. This financial support alleviates the burden of lost income and facilitates meaningful bonding time between parents and their new child.

Eligibility and Enrollment

All full-time employees are eligible for Gallagher's Paid Parental Leave. Enrollment in this benefit happens automatically after three months of service.

How it Works

Gallagher's Paid Parental Leave provides income replacement if you add a qualifying family member through birth, placement of child for adoption or foster care.

Gallagher will grant up to four (4) weeks of Paid Parental Leave to an eligible employee within twelve (12) months after the birth of the employee's child or the placement of child for adoption or foster care for bonding. The date of birth, adoption or foster placement must occur on or after your Payroll and Benefits Effective (PBE) date.
