Dental Coverage
Oral health is an important part of your overall wellbeing. Gallagher offers two plans designed to keep you smiling: the Standard and Enhanced Plans.
Eligibility & Enrollment
Regularly scheduled, full-time employees are eligible for dental benefits on the first day of employment. You can enroll in or make changes to your dental plan when newly hired, during Annual Enrollment, or after a qualifying life event.
How it Works
The dental plan is administered by Delta Dental of Illinois. After you pay the annual deductible, the plan pays a percentage of the cost for the dental care you receive. Benefit levels vary depending on whether your dentist is in a Delta Dental network and the type of care you receive. No matter the plan, in-network preventive care is covered 100% with no deductible.
If you see an in-network dentist, you can simply show your Delta Dental ID card and they will submit any claims on your behalf. If you see an out-of-network Dentist, you to pay upfront for service, you will need to submit a claim form for reimbursement for covered amounts. Claim forms can be found at deltadentalil.com

Enhanced Benefits Program
On both plans, additional coverage is provided for individuals who have specific health conditions (including pregnancy, diabetes, high risk cardiac conditions and suppressed immune systems) that can be positively affected by additional oral health care. Includes additional cleanings and/or applications of topical fluoride.
ToGo Program
The ToGo Program allows you to carry unused portions of your annual maximum over to the next year. You must be covered on the Enhanced Dental Plan for one full calendar year and have at least one dental service in that calendar year before ToGo funds are available.
